Expansion Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor Bolt

Masonry Wedge Anchors are used to anchor and secure material and equipment to solid concrete masonry surfaces. Concrete Wedge Anchor Bolts are used to install or fasten to concrete such as equipment, materials, generators, motors, pumps, pipes, strut, steel shapes, railing, benches, plastics or wood members. Wedge Anchors are installed into drilled holes, most often in concrete or other masonry materials. The non-threaded end is embedded into the hole and then struck to activate the expansion mechanism, which is fully utilized as the nut is tightened over the washer on the outside of the surface, on the material being fastened. The majority of the wedge anchor remains embedded in the solid masonry material being fastened to.

Application

Stainless Steel Wedge Anchors are used on oil rigs, docks, piers, walls or slabs. Wedge Anchors include Nuts and Washers.

Finish

1.Stainless steel bolts are generally available in bright self finish. Stainless steel bolts are polished or ground after forging and other activities to provide them with a bright finish. Sometimes customers require stainless steel bolts to be Xylan coated to provide an added layer on top of the surface bright finish.

2.Zinc-plated and zinc yellow-chromate plated steel anchors are corrosion resistant in wet environments.

3.Galvanized steel anchors are more corrosion resistant than zinc-plated steel anchors. They must be used with other galvanized fasteners.
